Ticket prices

The RHS sells Glow in five price bands depending on the date, plus a Premium ticket that works on any Glow date at any time. It has not published which dates fall into which band on its event page; the booking calendar shows the price when you pick a date.

Children under 5 go free. The spread is wide: the same adult visit costs £7.50 on a super off peak night and £26.25 on a peak one, so it pays to look at several dates before booking. The RHS itself says “popular slots always sell out”. Member prices are lower because membership already includes garden entry.

What is on the trail

The RHS describes an “enhanced route” through the garden this year, “packed full of extraordinary new light and sound displays set against dramatically lit landscapes” (RHS, Glow 2026). On the Wisley page it lists the Glasshouse, “a fantastical fairy village in the Rock Garden”, illuminations inspired by mycelium root networks, and two light shows with special effects set to music. The trail is described as fully accessible. Festive food is served, including in the Terrace Restaurant, though the menu had not been published when we checked.

SEN evenings

Two quieter sessions are set aside for visitors with sensory needs: Thursday 26 November and Tuesday 1 December, 4pm to 8.30pm, last entry 7.30pm, with fewer visitors, reduced noise and fewer distractions. Up to two accompanying carers go free. The RHS asks people to book these only if someone in the party has additional sensory needs, as spaces are limited.

Before you go

  • Book ahead. Every visitor needs a pre-booked Glow ticket, including under 5s, RHS members, their guests and carers. You can arrive any time within your booked slot and stay until closing.
  • Bring your booking reference, and your RHS membership card if you have one.
  • No dogs, except registered assistance dogs.
  • Booking enquiries: 01483 224234 or wisley@rhs.org.uk, quoting your booking reference.

Before an evening drive to Wisley, check our roadworks page, which carries the week’s A3 and M25 closures.

Other winter lights nearby

Glow is not the only light trail in the borough this winter. Illuminate Guildford at the castle opens on 14 November: see our preview. For the town centre, see the Christmas lights fun day on 15 November, the Christmas markets and the Yvonne Arnaud pantomime.

Still to confirm

The RHS has not listed which dates Glow runs on or which price band each date falls in, outside its booking calendar. We will add the date calendar here when it is published in full.
